Giving and Support
Common Ground Guildford is resourced by the financial support of local churches, community members and companions, together with the wider circle of "friends" who support its purpose.
Most important of all is the time and talents that people give as members of the community or to support its work. That includes the time given by church leaders (ordained and lay) across Guildford as we develop Common Ground as a mission community.
We are also grateful to everyone who has committed to pray for Common Ground, and also to join us in praying for Guildford.
We encourage everyone who makes a formal commitment as a member of the community to give regularly to its work. We also ask partner churches to consider contributing either to specific projects and activities or our general fund.
You can find out more about the Common Ground budget and how it is spent from from Nigel Campion-Smith
Holy Trinity St Mary's, which is a registered charity, is the umbrella organisation which oversees the management of Common Ground.
Individuals can make a one-off or regular gift by standing order. If you can gift aid, that will be helpful. The form is available from Nigel Campion-Smith and at Community meetings.
We may introduce the option of online giving in the future.
There is the opportunity to make a donation at community meetings and other events.
